Road Course Challenge

We want Fords to take over Bowling Green during Holley’s Ford Festival weekend, so we’re including the world famous NCM Motorsports Park road course as part of the action!  We’ve partnered with the SCCA to integrate our event with their Time Trial Nationals going on at the NCM Motorsports Park Friday thru Sunday and we are hosting a free Test and Tune day on Thursday for anyone that registers for the SCCA Time Trial Nationals!  Thursday’s Test and Tune will include training and extra track time to get you introduced to the track!  Training also goes on throughout the entire weekend at TT Nats, so this event is perfect for beginners as well as experienced road course junkies.  We will be giving out awards to the fastest Fords throughout the weekend, so get your Ford prepped for some road course action and get to Bowling Green in September!

What is the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Presented by Hagerty? Quite simply, it’s your chance to see how you stack up against the best track day drivers in the country – and have more fun than you knew you could.

This year’s event takes place September 27-29 at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Located just off the interstate, it’s an easy event for a large portion of the country to get to.

So what is it? Think the precision of autocross, only bigger and faster. Think the thrill of road racing, without anyone running you off the track with their poor decisions. Think the fun of the carnival, without any of the clowns.

That’s the atmosphere that SCCA’s Time Trials Nationals provides. You’ll get three days of on-track driving, broken into competition. You decide if you’re going all out to win, or just pushing yourself to be the best you can be. Classes are divided by car prep, car speed, and driver experience.

Over three days, you’ll get to warm up with four lapping sessions on Friday to learn the track. You’ll have two 20-minute Time Attack sessions on Saturday, with your best lap in the 40-minutes counting for your score. You’ll repeat that process on Sunday. And three times during those two days, you’ll participate in Track Cross elements. What’s track cross? You’ll get three runs at a pre-determined section of the NCM road course – autocross, but on the track.

All you really need to participate is a car that runs well, a helmet, and a time trials license (which is completely free).
